Follow these guidelines when posting a review:

  1. Enter the title of the book and the author’s name in the Title box. 
  2. Enter your review in the Post box.
  3. Use a hook to get others interested in the book.
  4. Tell us what the book was about and why you liked it. 
  5. Include your first initial, last initial, and room number at the bottom of the post.  Do not put your first and last name.
  6. Click the box that says Submit for Review.
  7. I will check all reviews before they are posted.  Any inappropriate comments will not be posted and will be forwarded to Dr. Vasile.

Can you imagine having a sloth whispering in your ear while you sleep?  That’s exactly what happens in this book.  A woodcutter falls asleep in the Amazon rainforest when he tires from chopping into a kapok tree.  While he sleeps different rain forest animals come down and tell him why the tree is important to them.  I really like the illustrations of the rain forest animals in this book as well as the message that protecting the rain forest is important to us all.  If you love animals you’ll go wild for this book.
